Woolly Wax
Woolly Wax is our own exclusive recipe, handmade in-house and available only from The Makerss.
Specially developed for needle felting, it helps wool fibres grip wire armatures more effectively and smooths down fluffy, wispy fibres to create a more natural, finished appearance.
Simply scrape off a small amount with the back of your nail or a teaspoon. The wax softens with the warmth of your hands, becoming pliable and slightly tacky. Use it to tame flyaway fibres, shape details, and add a subtle waxy finish to your felted creations.
Each piece is hand-poured into moulds, usually as stars or rings.
Contains
Beeswax, a blend of European waxes and oils, lanolin, and resin.
Important
- For craft use only.
- Not for consumption.
- Store at room temperature and away from direct heat or direct sunlight.
- Due to its low melting point, the wax may soften in warm conditions.
We are currently offering 4 colours in both, Soft Woolly Wax and Firm Woolly Wax.
Woolly Wax Round Shape - Soft - this is a soft version for smoothing down wool fibres and preparing wire for wool wraps.
Woolly Wax Star Shape- Firm - this is the hardest version for smoothing down wool fibres and preparing wire for wool wraps. The wax can be used on its own for beaks, claws etc.
