Techniques used: Use of a wire to create a basic armature , wrapping wool around wire, creating wool shapes and sculpting with wool, attaching shapes and adding surface colours and features, multi media: wool, wire and beads.

To make this project you will also need:

  • Wool Batts: basic core, Royal Blue, Light Blue, Black Dyed Nz Merino, Bleached White Australian merino.
  • Wool Tops: Green/Blue Sparkly merino 
  • 120 Seed beads
  • Flexible steel wire
  • Felting Needles (#36 Coarse, #38 Medium, #40 Fine) 
  • Tools: Felting mat, needle and clear/white thread for sewing the beads on to the body.
