🎅 Needle Felted Father Christmas Workshop – Virtual via Zoom and in person at The Makerss Workshop Studio Nailsworth 🎄✨

Join Steffi via Zoom or in person and create this wonderfully kind and fatherly Father Christmas, complete with his large hessian sack, from woolly goodness.

During this festive workshop, you will learn how to use a wire armature to give Father Christmas strength, stability and poseability. Steffi will guide you step-by-step as you sculpt his friendly, chubby face, add his spectacles, and dress him fully in traditional festive attire, including his hat, coat and trousers.

Your finished Father Christmas will stand approximately 20–25cm tall and, because you will be making him in your own unique way, he will become a truly special heirloom decoration to treasure for years to come.

Suitable for confident beginners and experienced needle felters alike.

You Will Need - if attending via Zoom

• #36 coarse felting needle
• #38 medium felting needle
• #40 fine felting needle
• A5 or A6 felting mat
• 2D multi-needle tool
• Wire cutters
• Scissors
• Clear-drying glue
• A little pink blusher
• Needle and thread (to sew the hessian sack)

If attending in person all materials and tools will be provided!

About the Zoom Workshop

The workshop will take place live via Zoom, giving you the opportunity to craft alongside Steffi and a small group attending in person, ask questions and enjoy the company of fellow makers from the comfort of your own home.

Can't make the whole session live? Don't worry. The tutorial element of the workshop will be recorded and emailed to everybody who has booked onto the event, allowing you to revisit the techniques or catch up in your own time.
